Droplet + Zoom Integration Guide
This guide explains how to securely connect your Zoom account with the Droplet app, use it for virtual appointments, and disconnect it if needed.
Droplet integrates directly with Zoom to make virtual appointments simple and seamless. When you connect your Zoom account, Droplet automatically generates secure Zoom meeting links for each appointment you confirm with parents.
Connecting Your Zoom Account
Droplet uses Zoom’s OAuth flow for secure integration. You will be redirected to Zoom’s login and authorization page, and Droplet never stores your Zoom credentials.
Follow these steps to connect your account:
Log in to your Droplet account.
Go to Profile > Configurations.
Tap Connect button for Zoom.
You will be redirected to Zoom’s login page. Sign in with your Zoom account.
Grant Droplet the necessary permissions to create meetings on your behalf.
After authorization, you will be redirected back to Droplet. Your Zoom account is now connected.
Using Zoom Integration in Droplet
Once your Zoom account is connected, Droplet automatically generates meeting links:
When you confirm a virtual appointment with a parent, Droplet instantly creates a unique Zoom meeting link.
The meeting link is automatically added to the appointment details in Droplet.
Disconnecting Your Zoom Account
You can remove the integration at any time:
Log in to your Droplet account.
Go to Profile > Configurations.
Tap on the Removebutton for Zoom.
Confirm your choice.
⚠️ Note: Disconnecting your Zoom account prevents new meeting links from being generated for future appointments. Existing appointments with Zoom links are not affected.
