Droplet SMS Terms: Text Alerts for Providers

Droplet Health LLC offers an optional text message program, Droplet IBCLC Alerts, for lactation consultants (IBCLCs) in Droplet’s collective. Messages alert providers to new consultation requests, remind them of requests awaiting a response, and share booking updates. Parents do not receive text messages.

How to opt in

Providers opt in inside the Droplet app, either right after setting up their provider profile or anytime from Profile, then Text alerts. They enter a mobile number and check a box that is unchecked by default:

Text me about new consultation requests and booking reminders from Droplet. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Below the checkbox: “Consent is not required to use Droplet. See our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.” The provider then taps “Yes, send me text alerts.”

Confirmation message

After opting in, providers receive: “Droplet: You’re subscribed to consultation alerts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message, or turn off text alerts in the app under Profile, then Text alerts. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.

Privacy

Text messages never include health information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging providers that deliver our texts. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
